Seemage your iPod #32: Seemage events

The Seemage podcast for CAD and PLM users episode 32: Seemage Events

In this week’s episode, Jonathan Riondet shows us how Seemage events can be associated with stored views (or what Seemage calls “configurations”). Using this technique, Jonathan creates a type of animation in less than two minutes that can clearly illustrate a technique, process or procedure for the product.

Since we have many subscribers via the iTunes Store, when Jonathan creates an animation, I convert it to iPod-compatible format. I think it’s cool to have these on your video iPod to show others, and apparently, you agree. But now that we have started showing not just product animations but the techniques used to create them in Seemage, subscribers and vistors to the website might wish to see a larger version of the podcast. So, today I have also posted Jonathan’s original .avi. This file, compatible with Windows Media Player, allows you to see the details of the recording and Seemage more clearly. On the blog, you may simply click on your preferred format. iTunes subscribers will see the .m4v at full size and can also sync it to their iPods where it will play at half-size.

Enjoy, and thanks again to Jonathan for the excellent demonstration of Seemage. We hope over the next few weeks to have more from him to show you.
