3DVIA Featured in Time Magazine
Back in May, 3DVIA was featured in Time magazine. The article mainly talked about 3D coming to Web 2.0, and how 3DVIA.com had amassed over 15,000 users who have generated a lot of 3D content. 3DVIA.com offers several free tools to allow consumers the ability to create 3D content and to leverage that content in several ways. In particular:
Eventually, subscribers will be able to use the software to conceive and create their own online games. Already users can build models of the exteriors of their homes or other buildings and place them in real settings on Microsoft's Virtual Earth.
But that is only the tip of the iceberg… you can use 3DVIA to integrate with Facebook too. And now all that great content on 3DVIA.com can be used in 3DVIA Composer too. So you need a model for your 3DVIA Composer animation? Try searching on 3DVIA.com. What you want is not there and you don't have a CAD system to create a simple little 3D tool? Use 3DVIA Shape to create that model and then bring it into 3DVIA Composer.
Now with over 30,000 users and nearly 3,000 3D models available for free, 3DVIA.com gives 3DVIA Composer the ability to leverage even more 3D content than ever before.

This should be a fun addition to the Composer product. I look forward to hearing more once people get their hands on the feature.
