Hi everyone!

Just a short announcement that Tod will be hosting Part 2 of his “Ask the Experts” webinar series. He’s going to get into some nifty advanced animation techniques — so whether you’re a newbie looking for more horsepower, a seasoned pro who wants a refresher, or just generally interested in taking a look at 3DVIA Composer, please sign up and attend.

3DVIA Composer will again be part of COE 2009, in Seattle April 19-22. Check us out in the DS booth.

There are a few sessions you’ll want to mark on your schedules:

First, be sure to sign up early for a Hands On Test Drive session that is running on Monday @ 2:30 pm. Space is limited and they fill up fast.

Second, yours truly will be introducing the latest information about our full integration to ENOVIA SmarTeam on Tuesday @ 3:30 pm. You won’t want to miss it.

Third, Creaform is presenting “3DVIA Composer Combined with 3D Scanning Technologies” on Wednesday @ 4:00 pm. We actually solicited their help with a special marketing project we’re working on, but more on that later!

From the “I’m glad the marketing guy didn’t have to spend a week on the trade show floor” file comes this photo from the COE/PLM Summit taken, I think, yesterday (Monday, 4/30) of CEO Chris Williams (standing, left) and Founder Eric Piccuezzeu manning the booth at the show.

Looks like the show is going well, and hopefully we’ll have more photos to post shortly.

As you probably know from reading our blog, we are attending COE and the PLM Summit this week in Las Vegas. Chris, Bruno and Eric are showing Seemage 4.0 in the CAA pavilion in TechniFair booth 408. If you are lucky enough to be at COE/PLM Summit this week, please stop by to see them.

While you are there, be sure to pick up a Seemage demo CD. In addition to lots of other cool Seemage materials, the CD has a Seemage animation that offers a solution to the devilishly complex wooden puzzles that we are also giving away in our booth. There’s almost no better demo than comparing the impossible-to-understand printed solution to the Seemage animation, which’ll have you solving the puzzle in seconds.

The importance of COE got me to thinking about what’s really behind the very optimistic PLM marke...
